Paradis
Paradis is a music album of Swedish hits from 60s in Farsi language. I used the details of beautiful and dreamy Qavam House which is located in Shiraz. Ornaments in the house are a mixture of Victorian and Iranian styles from different epochs. The garden is constructed according to ancient Iranian design to represent paradise on earth. In 1969 it was the location for a fashion shoot for Vogue. Life in pre-revolutionary Iran in the sixties and seventies was like in many other places vibrant and full of hope for the future. The room in the cover photo and the garden is from Qavam house and the mirror works in the booklet from other buildings in Iran. And of course there is Anita Lindblom the 60s Swedish artist is sitting on the cover.
